Fellow philanthropists,

Above is a familiar scene to all of us, from newspapers or televisions. Perhaps from thousands of miles away...

Think again! Turkey, because of its geological location, is acting as a bridge between the poverty, drought and war torn Africa/Middle East and Europe- their so called Eden. Quite a few of them get stranded here, in our country, even living in Istanbul in abject poverty right around the corner.

It is up to us to provide them some warmth in this cold winter, please share your old but waerable clothings with us within this or next week so that we can give their New Year's presents. Any amount is okay, as long as one less person is feeling cold.

Let's get this rolling!!!!

Man ist was man isst

Finally, the long-awaited event of the year has passed!!!!

Thank you all for your attendance and enthusiasm. It was the ultimate form of cook yourself eat yourself (kendin pisir kendin ye); and the food turned out to be all the more delicious when cooked with the cosmic energy (or was it the heat?) generated when all of Marketing Services focused for a single purpose.

Many memoreable things happened that day and we will remember it for (if not for the rest of our lives) a long time to come. Even our friends and family will remember the delicious food we have brought back to them, not to forget the distinctive odor which we carried with our clothes to the places we have visitied that night :).

I would like to thank exclusively Ozge for her efforts in organizing the event, Merve (K ) for the great idea, and Esin for the final touches and the topping (shuttle)...
